83 days. This special selection of Tomatillo yields large, apple-green fruits. The mediumsized, determinate plants need no staking. The globe shaped fruits reach 3-4 ounces, very large for a tomatillo, and the yields are very high. Recommended for fresh market.

What are the pros? Sturdy, Lots of produce

What are the cons? Needs to be staked

Review:

I never knew it was so easy to grow tomatillos. I love making Mexican food, and tomatillos are an essential ingredient in so many salsas. I would always buy them at the store. When I saw that I could grow them here, I decided to give them a try. I literally did not have to do anything. The plant grew like crazy, and I was overjoyed when I started to see the classic lantern shade husks appear. I will definitely be planting more of these this year.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, tastes great!

What are the cons? none

Review:

I grew about 7 of these plants in 2013 and they turned out great! My soil was not rich enough, so the plants did not reach full potential, but I still had a lot of green tomatillos and they continued production as I harvested.
