85 days. Beautiful, neon yellow, banana-shaped fruits are bursting with intense sweetness and flavor. A wonderful new tomato that originated as a "sport" from Mr. John Swenson's Speckled Roman. A new favorite of market growers, it is quite colorful.

Review:

I got these in the northern gardeners kit, and I really didn't care for them. They were really nice looking, and pretty prolific, but were really woody and dry. I'm in zone 6A, so maybe that was the problem. Not growing these again.

Have to say this was one of my least favorites,, Big producer, but lacking in taste, and yes dry and had a hard core in the center. good for paste tomato I guess.

Review:

Huge yields, beautiful colour, interesting shape but I have to agree with the other reviews, the flavour is lacking. But maybe I was comparing them to the other stars like black prince, Dr wyche's, copia, pink grapefruit. Just on their own, chopped up in salads should be great and you won't run out of tomatoes growing these, producing far more than my other plants.

Review:

I grew this tomato in 2008, found it very dry which would be good for paste, and the skin is very tough, which I suppose aids to storage ability if you need that. I probably won't grow it again...

Very prolific. Good yields all season long. Held up well on the vine. Firm with good size. I was hoping for more flavor, although I did have friends who really like them. May be a matter of personal preference. May try them again.
