80-90 days. Introduced by our friend, the late Darrell Merrell, in 1997; at last we have this popular tomato back! Very large fruit are exquisitely flavored, being sweet with just enough tang to make them perfect; purplish-pink in color. Darrell selected this type from a patch of Hillbilly tomatoes in the 1990s, and it has become a favorite among seed collectors.

Review:

Fruit has a great flavor, but not a market tomatoe, bruises very easily. Was the worst with aphids this year out of the 20 or so varieties we planted. Will plant again for home use though.

Review:

This is the only tomato of the 8 varieties I grew that did not get blossom end rot early in the season. Even with heavy spring rain, it stayed resistant. It also grew the largest fruit (as large as my hand) beating "Big Rainbow". I can't comment on the flavor yet.

This is a great tasting pink, the short stocky plants load up with med-large round flatened tomatos, another one that has made the every year list.
