Here's an outstanding addition to the Cosmos clan—award-winning color on compact plants! The color is the very best of the burgundy-magenta that makes Cosmos so endearing in the summer garden—varying tones from medium to super-deep. The single blooms have very wide petals; the overall effect is reminiscent of richly pleated silk. The 18-24" plants are compact, never lanky. Recently recognized with Europe's Fleuroselect award. Spectacular!

What are the pros? Deep colors fading to light

What are the cons? none

Review:

I am really happy with the color of this new cosmos. I direct seeded the plants in late May after our last frost date and it was blooming by mid July. And true to it's description, is a cut and come again flower. The nicest surprise is its vase life. Cosmos' don't usually have a great reputation for a long vase life, but this one has lasted in the vase without plant food for 5-7 days~ a plus in my book! I am planning to extend my cosmos area from 3'x 25' to 3'x 50' next summer.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, bloomed early

What are the cons? None

Review:

These cosmos have bloomed earlier than the 4 other types I am growing, and the plants are much shorter, about 2.5-3 feet tall. I love how the blooms fade from a deep burgundy to a more faded, sort of frosted shade over time. I will definitely grow these again.

Review:

I am a big fan of cosmos but when these beautiful babies bloomed I was madly in love. The colors were stunning. I am going to plant them again this summer. It's like a frozen tundra here right now but I'm ordering now so I don't miss out

Review:

I sowed these seeds outside 9/25/16. 10/1/16 seeds germinated.10/16/16 true leaves were pronounced and brought them inside my basement to grow under my Aerogarden grow light. 11/14/16 Buds formed. 11/30/16 Still buds, eagerly awaiting flowers. These are VERY compact, short Cosmos compared to my Sensation Cosmos out in the yard. I will update after flowers form.
