65 days. Grown for over 50 years by Mrs. Ruby Wallace of Dallas, North Carolina. Ruby first got a start from her mother-in-law Myrtle, who had grown them for many years. The Wallace family uses the fruits for pickles when they are very small. (Be sure to use white vinegar to make white pickles!) Or the family let the fruits get a bit larger for slicers. It’s the only one they grow! A real Carolina heirloom.

What are the pros? Taste, Thin skin

What are the cons? None

Review:

I love the taste, never bitter, very flavorful. Very pretty, and i was worried by pictures they would be jelly like in the center (I hate that) but they arent even though the seeds were big. Some of them were Ombre'd dark Yellow fading into pale yellow on the other end. I will always grow this cucumber! My maiden name is Wallace so 8 had to try them!

What are the pros? Great taste, easy, fast

What are the cons? none

Review:

These are by far the best cucumbers I have ever had in my life! They are crunchy, slightly sweet, very mild taste, never bitter. My kids gobble them up. They are fast and heavy producers.

What are the pros? Great refreshing taste

What are the cons? Didn't plant enough

Review:

My grandmother's name is Ruby Wallace so I just had to try these and I was so pleased. They were my favorite in 2014. I only planted two vines which were semi shaded so they probably didn't produce as well as they should have. What I had was wonderful! Sweet and mild with a thin skin. They were great off the vine or even better out of the fridge. I am so looking forward to these again in the summer. Can't wait!

What are the cons? nothing to dislike

These cucumbers are extremely high yield, good tasting fresh.. but also makes the very best tasting pickle I've ever canned! Since I primarily grow for pickles it will likely be the only cucumber I ever grow again

What are the pros? Great tasting, easy from seed

What are the cons? smaller than expected

Review:

Great tasting cucumber including skin(not bitter). Over ripens quickly, even when small but great flavor and easy to grow in heat and humidity. Has not been bothered by disease or insects. Will grow again.
