65 days. Grown for over 50 years by Mrs. Ruby Wallace of Dallas, North Carolina. Ruby first got a start from her mother-in-law Myrtle, who had grown them for many years. The Wallace family uses the fruits for pickles when they are very small. (Be sure to use white vinegar to make white pickles!) Or the family let the fruits get a bit larger for slicers. It’s the only one they grow! A real Carolina heirloom.

What are the pros? Smaller size

What are the cons? Not long keepers

Review:

Overall I really like these cukes. The smaller size is just right for my wife and I, since we don't use a lot. We could split one for two salads, or I would just slice one up and eat it. The plants were fairly productive. The yellow ripening color often made people think that they were way past ripe. One taste put that notion to rest. Their usual response was "That tastes like cucumber!". They are best used soon after picking as they didn't keep long.

What are the pros? fast growing, great taste

What are the cons? none

Review:

These are a winner! They grew well in difficult conditions: a cooler than normal spring, that switched into a hotter than normal summer overnite. They didn't turn bitter like the other cukes. If you live in a hotter region, definitely give these a try.

What are the pros? Taste, Thin skin

Review:

I love the taste, never bitter, very flavorful. Very pretty, and i was worried by pictures they would be jelly like in the center (I hate that) but they arent even though the seeds were big. Some of them were Ombre'd dark Yellow fading into pale yellow on the other end. I will always grow this cucumber! My maiden name is Wallace so 8 had to try them!

What are the pros? Great taste, easy, fast

What are the cons? none

Review:

These are by far the best cucumbers I have ever had in my life! They are crunchy, slightly sweet, very mild taste, never bitter. My kids gobble them up. They are fast and heavy producers.
