65 days. Grown for over 50 years by Mrs. Ruby Wallace of Dallas, North Carolina. Ruby first got a start from her mother-in-law Myrtle, who had grown them for many years. The Wallace family uses the fruits for pickles when they are very small. (Be sure to use white vinegar to make white pickles!) Or the family let the fruits get a bit larger for slicers. It’s the only one they grow! A real Carolina heirloom.

What are the pros? high yield, best taste pickle

What are the cons? nothing to dislike

Review:

These cucumbers are extremely high yield, good tasting fresh.. but also makes the very best tasting pickle I've ever canned! Since I primarily grow for pickles it will likely be the only cucumber I ever grow again

What are the pros? Great tasting, easy from seed

What are the cons? smaller than expected

Review:

Great tasting cucumber including skin(not bitter). Over ripens quickly, even when small but great flavor and easy to grow in heat and humidity. Has not been bothered by disease or insects. Will grow again.

What are the pros? Great yield, not bitter

What are the cons? None

Review:

I am not a huge fan of cucumbers generally. I grow them every year because typically cucumbers are easy to grow and produce. However, most cucumbers I've tried have always been to strong-tasting to me. I'm one that if you get a slice of cucumber on a salad and take it off I can still taste the cucumber. This cucumber is wonderful and tastes just right. Enough of a cucumber flavor without bitterness and such a crunchy, meaty texture. The yields on this cucumber are phenomenal! I don't typically like to share my vegetables, but I had so many, I couldn't keep up with eating these. Needless to say, my coworkers were very happy to eat some up for me. Highly recommend!

Review:

Very impressed! This cucumber did excellent. Nice crisp flavor. No peeling needed. These produced a large amount of cucumbers even in the Texas heat. This will be a staple in my garden.

Review:

I love these cuccumber. I live in Peidmont NC and these grow in almost full shade throught spring and summer. I was amazed at how hardy these cuccumber are. They have a wonderful taste and small size. Heavy producers. I can't wait to grow next year. I wanted to pickle some, so good fresh.
