What are the pros? beautiful
What are the cons? none
I just want to add that I have very sensitive skin (allergic to most soaps, lotions, and shampoos) and these flowering plants have not bothered me at all. So, don't let the skin sensitivity warning discourage you from trying these. As long as you don't roll around in them (i.e.--toddlers), you're probably going to be just fine.

What are the pros? fragrance, look
I have grown these for two years (and will again this year) and love these flowers! They are beautiful, smell nice, and are low maintenance. They are also shade and drought-tolerant (at least, this has been the case in my backyard). Saving seed from this plant is easy--simply collect the black balls when the plant "presents" them. Also, to give you an idea of what to expect (since I took notes) I will add that last year it took 74 days from planting the seeds (in early spring) until I saw the first bloom (July 2). Then, they bloomed continuously until frost took them.

What are the pros? beautiful color
Adds nice color to the flower garden. I love the smell of 4 o'clocks. Takes me back to my childhood at my great grandparents house. Planted these with the Bright Lightd cosmos and the colors looked very nice together.

What are the pros? Lovely color.
What are the cons? A night bloomer.
A very nice plant. Fills the empty spots nicely. A must have for me. Wonderful color that blends so well. Helps to control the Japanese Beetles which is why I grow it. It is toxic to them and they like the plant.
