What are the pros? Beautiful, easy to grow.

What are the cons? Not true to picture.

Review:

Germination wasn't great, maybe 50%. I started them indoors under lights. The flowers are beautiful, but do not look like the picture. Most of them are solid colours rather than striped, and pink to dark rose, rather than the light colour shown. However, they are stunning.

Review:

I did not purchase these seeds but wanted to reply to another post. All you have to do to get seeds is wait, if you haven't already discovered that by now. Each on the flowers produces a spike-ball of seeds, there were at least 30 seeds per flower on my mother's orange cosmos. Multiply that by the 20-50 (or more?) flowers on one plant over a season. They are easy to harvest in great multitudes mid-sumer until they die. Harvest all you want and pull up the plants. You'll discover a bunch of small new plants growing close to the ground - let those grow if you don't have other flowers you want to plant. Next season you won't have to seed; they'll come up by themselves from the seeds you dropped when harvesting seeds and pulling up plants. You'll have a ton of seeds to spread along roadsides and in ditches and pastures. Have fun!

Review:

I love these flowers! They really look good around my bird bath, and I am not the only one.. Some of my birds like to sit in them! I saved half my packet, but now, I want to buy more! If anyone knows how to save the seeds, post up!
