(C. bipinnatus) Beautiful shades of pink, crimson, white and rose. Tall bush plants are very easy to grow, providing colorful blooms all summer.

What are the pros? Graceful Blooms, Overall Vigor

What are the cons? Late Bloom, Huge Size of Plant

Review:

I think it must have been October before I saw the first blooms on these, so a bit disappointing in that respect. However, they were tremendous bloomers when they finally got started. I was so worried the buds would get zapped by frost before they opened! Fortunately, they were growing in a warm, sheltered spot, and I had several trick-or-treaters comment on the "pretty flowers" beside the front entryway, and they remained in full bloom up through Thanksgiving Day. It looked as though I had a fountain of flowers spilling over my front steps. I am not sure I will grow them again, though, due to the extreme late bloom aspect (and they do get huge--definitely best to plant these in the background. Come to think of it, maybe they'd be nice companions for Dahlia...).

What are the pros? Very pretty flowers

What are the cons? N\A

Review:

Very tall beautiful plants with pretty flowers in white, pink, and fushia. I even got a few yellow ones I think that was by mistake but I enjoyed them also. Very attractive to butterflies.

What are the pros? Beautiful plants

What are the cons? no blooms

Review:

Mine have been in the ground since May. Plants are 5 feet tall and several feet in diameter, but it's past the middle of August and still no flowers. Plants are healthy and in good soil.

What are the pros? tall and healthy nice flowers

What are the cons? late bloomers

Review:

These grew wonderful but didn't start blooming until the last week of September. The plant itself though was pretty enough with the feathery green leaves that I didn't really mind that they hadn't bloom until late. Right now (October) they are LOADED with pretty flowers, fuchsia pink, lighter pink, dark pink.
