Delicious green leaves are great in salads and stir-fries. The brilliant yellow flowers are also tasty! A beautiful Oriental heirloom, very colorful.

What are the pros? Easy to germinate. Attractive.

What are the cons? None yet

Review:

I had a seed packed left over from 2009. I was experimenting with the "winter sow" method so I used old seeds. It appears a large number of the 5 year old seeds germinated. I am planting them for the first time. The foliage is lovely. I am looking forward to the results.

Review:

This has NOT grown well in my Tropical (Thai) climate, during rainy season. I'm hoping to try again when the rain clears and we get some hot, sunny weather again. Germination rates were high, I think it's just been too wet.
