What are the cons? none

Review:

Outstanding! This was my first time growing this. Taste was is wonderful lemony flavor. Very easy to grow. Kept it a bite shaded over the summer and it is still producing and has not bolted yet. Started in the garden in mid-March.

What are the pros? Easy to grow,

What are the cons? Not very pest resistant

Review:

This is a great little plant. When I first planted it, it took several months before it started doing well. It grew very slowly with constant die back from insect damage. Then all of a sudden it took off. Since then it has grown to a ball of perhaps 18 inches in diameter. It looks like a romaine lettuce plant with the large leaves pointing out in all directions. The leaves are sour but in a good way. They work particularly well in smoothies where they don't overpower fruit to the degree kale or spinach does.

What are the pros? Taste,

What are the cons? Slow growing

Review:

This was a good choice of herb. I was worried for a long time though, it grew very slowly at first and seemed to attract every bug in the garden to eat its leaves. It came through though and now iis producing new leaves quickly. Since it is a perrennial, I expect it to keep producing for quite some time now that it is large. Mostly I have just ate the leaves straight because I didn't have many. Now I have started adding them to smoothies because they seem to pair well with fruit.
