What are the pros? Easy grow & productivity
What are the cons? Zero Flavor
10 feet tall stalks. Large full cobs of corn. I picked some kind of early that wasn't fully mature because that is how I pick other corn as I like it very tender. It looked like corn - had the texture and feel of corn, but the only flavor was the butter & salt I put on it. I waited a week picked some more - same results though the corn was at it's peak. Then picked some even later hoping it would eventually get some sweetness or corn flavor of any kind. Zero flavor for me here in SW MO. It would make a good survival food as it's so productive and would be better than eating things that taste bitter or are slimy or are lower in calories so that is why I gave it 2 stars overall.
