What are the pros? Good color, very pretty

What are the cons? n/a

Review:

This popcorn grew pretty well. They were a nice dwarf size and they did have a couple of ears on each stalk. I planted these a little late in the season so I had problems with some of the cobs being a little under-developed but the corn I did get was great--it had excellent color and looked really great. I tried popping it and it did really well and I liked the popcorn but I will note that since its a small kernel variety it has a less 'fluffy' and more tough taste to it.

What are the pros? taste, color, short

What are the cons? weak stalks

Review:

I've had pretty good success with these. In 2015 I tried companion planting these with runner beans and a mini acorn squash, and I had reasonable success. However, these aren't tall enough or sturdy enough to really support pole beans. I wound up tying the stalks in bundles so they could hold each other up. The stalks are spindly for me. Maybe it's because my soil is poor. But they produced multiple ears each and tasted great popped! Beautiful pure white popcorn. In 2016 I grew them in rows and had less success. Not great germination from the seeds I'd collected in 2015, stalks still spindly, and less production. Then I caught a skunk eating the lower ears! Still, they're great for a compact garden, so I'll do some research and try again in 2017. I'll have to buy seed.

Review:

Fun to pop or for fall d?cor. This little corn grew great. This is my second season growing it. It keeps well after harvest; that I was popped leftover 2015 corn this week to make room for the new crop.

What are the pros? Great harvest in a small area

What are the cons? kernals small for popcorn

Review:

Great harvest with little area. So very pretty! I wish I had used them all for crafts. I removed the kernels to make popcorn but the end result was about 1/4-1/3 the size of the Jolly Time Organic popcorn I usually use. Taste was good but I felt the texture lacked "fluff" and body.
