What are the pros? Super Fragrant and Tall
What are the cons? Wish I'd planted lots more ;-)
Located near Cleveland, about 2 blocks from Lake Erie. SFG raised beds with automatic watering.
I was intrigued by this variety because it sounded like it would grow taller than the short sweet alyssum plants I usually purchase at the nursery, and they did! Around 12" tall, which was perfect for my closely-spaced square-foot gardens. They were also super fragrant and attracted bees and other helpful pollinators like parasitic wasps (which are harmless to humans and animals but lay their eggs in soft-flesh nasties like tomatoe hornworms and cabbage moth worms).
I will absolutely include these in next year's garden plan and will at least double how many I put in this past year.
