What are the pros? cold-hardy, gorgeous, prolific

What are the cons? flavor inconsistent

Review:

Beautiful. Pretty in bouquets. Prolific. Enormous (12-18"H) in quality soil. Cold-hardy. Thrived even covered in a bit of snow. Great for deterring garden pests. Delicious, but sometimes tastes different from plant to plant depending on soil. The plants in my raised bed had a different flavor that the one planted in the ground around my hibiscus. They were both good, though. So if you don't like it just change the soil.

What are the pros? High Germination

What are the cons? None

Review:

This sprouted before every other herb I planted and pretty sure it was close to 100% germination! 2 days in potting soil and sprouts everywhere... I will update as it grows but just the germination rate is very pleasing!!

What are the pros? Fusion in vinegar

What are the cons? none

Review:

For rpl - for best results with tarragon, mildly crush it with the back of a 'table' spoon just before use. Crushing the leaves brings out the juices increasing the aroma and taste.

Review:

My mistake. I was thinking french tarragon. This plant has been growing reliably in my greenhouse for 6 months now & at no point did it taste like anything a all. What a disappointment this crop is.

While not french tarragon I assure that it is not flavorless. A quick search for "The Three Tarragons: French, Russian, Mexican" will give you better distinctions of the three.
