80 days. A fairly early orange-fleshed variety that has great taste and texture. Its rind is hard and tough, making at a good orange variety for marketing. They are very uniform and weigh 22 lbs.

What are the pros? Very sturdy plant

What are the cons? None

Review:

The plant on this variety is very easy to grow and very sturdy, despite all the slugs and bugs or deseases that try to attack it, it survived. Lots of flowers both male and female, fruit grew big fast and I just harvested my first melon today (08/07/2017) I sowed the seeds back in May. This is a very delicious variety love the beautiful color. It's exciting for me to see the yellow flesh and tastes sweet. I recommend to wait 2-3 days after the tendril dries out before harvesting for the sweetest tasting fruit.

What are the pros? Excellent flavor

What are the cons? None

Review:

This is, by far, is now one of my favorite watermelon varieties. My all-time favorite will always be Ali Baba for its sweetness and crisp texture. This Tendergold did not disappoint in the texture department. Very firm flesh with surprisingly few seeds and large, hard-rind melons. The taste was superb, very sweet. I tend to always have trouble with root-knot nematodes and so far, this variety has shown to not be affected. I planted 6 plants and have already harvested 8 watermelons. They are all putting on second and third and fourth small melons.
