These beautiful 5-inch fruit are one of my favorite varieties and a lot of fun to grow, they are very mild and delicious. This Thai variety is quite ornamental, and is a great home garden variety. Collected by us in Thailand. Rare and unique.

What are the pros? Can withstand the Florida heat

What are the cons? None

Review:

I have a hard time growing cucumbers, but this one seems to like the Florida heat and humidity. In fact, it has grown best in August so far. I do have it in a little bit of shade of another plant, but at the moment, nothing else is growing in the garden except this. Pest free, too, which is amazing. The taste is a little less sweet than a typical American cucumber, but that makes little difference when they're so fresh. Just plant seeds before mid summer so the vine will be established before the heat wave hits with a vengeance.

What are the pros? Easy to spot in the weeds

What are the cons? None

Review:

Planted the same time as marketmoores and they took about 2 weeks longer. Once started they produce like crazy and the Oklahoma heat doesn't seem to bother these little guys. Nice thick smooth skins, bugs don't like them.

What are the pros? Mild taste, beatiful cucumbers

What are the cons? None

Review:

Planted these on a trellis next to my regular cucumbers. Plants grew steadily, and the trellis is now covered.Already harvested a half-dozen of these very pretty cucumbers, with many more on the vine. Cucumber has a milder taste, almost sweeter. Really nice cucumbers. Will definitely grow these again, and yet another set of seeds from Bakers Creek that just produces the best tasting veggies.
