This onion is a staple in my garden; it finds its way into every Greek salad, salsa, vinaigrette, potato salad, stir fry, etc. It is full of flavour and has just enough spice. This onion is best fresh out of the garden and does not keep more than a month or two after fall harvest. To extend harvesting period, transplant seedlings close together and thin to every other plant when they are red-bottomed green onions!
