What are the pros? excellent flavor
What are the cons? didn't like 100 degree days
Neat little plants, ours were planted in two different gardens. one group of plants didn't do well at all. they were in my home garden full sun and a brutally hot summer. one of the six remained a sad little stick I overlooked when I removed the others.
The other group were sprinkled in the local middle school garden project. Those plants grew huge and has produced consistently. Our favorite thing to do with them is to make capinata with them.
If I can get them in early enough next year i'll definitely plant them, hopefully our brutal 7a sun isn't quiet a bad at the home garden next year.
I noticed the tiny sad leafless stick I forgot to remove from the home garden. last week I noticed it has grown 11 inches put off two branches and was flowering so who knows I might get some of these at home too! I sure hope so.
