I've grown this variety before, though not from baker creek since its new this year. Celery is hard to grow, but this variety survived for us when many other other varieties quit once they experienced a New England summer. We started it late, and overcrowded it so it didn't get huge, but we still got great greens for soups and even a few snacks. Bonus: we haven't cut it all yet and the last little bit is still alive in mid December but we haven't had a really hard freeze yet. Also, my cats thought it was delicious - they know the veg garden is off limits but couldn't stay away - we thought the little we got was amazing too. Hard work but home grown celery is worth it.
