What are the pros? doesn't quit
What are the cons? no dislikes
This chard just keeps going and going and going. The leaves are smooth and tender. The leaves remain tender even with heat and large leaves are still tender.
I planted this chard in a location that I didn't expect it to do as well as it did but with a top dressing of compost every month or so, it has continued to produce for nearly a year here in San Diego. I even tried to thin it out a bit and it just kept going and going and going.
Great raw with other greens and/or lettuces, great in smoothies, and great cooked alone or with a few bitter greens.
A great green to keep in the garden!
