80 days. This great “Blue” tomato comes from renowned heirloom/OP breeder Tom Wagner. Color is an incredible blue, with green flesh! We were impressed with its beauty and great flavor! The round fruits are around 3 inches in diameter, and are very smooth and blemish-free

What are the pros? huge yield, great flavor

What are the cons? none

Review:

So sweet to eat, so fun to grow! Started my plants indoor, moved to my greenhouse in April and then into my garden mid May. Grew two plants organically in an outdoor garden with raised beds. Mixed Fox Farm with our local soil. They produced a HUGE yield of tomatoes all the way up until our first frost (October). They grew to be 7 feet tall! Their size was on the medium scale. Very sweet taste, almost like candy. I personally enjoyed them fried, in sandwiches, with fish and in salads with fruit mixed in!

What are the pros? Interest, prolific

What are the cons? Not sure what to do with them

Review:

Like one reviewer said, if picked at the exact right moment, not bad. Very mealy if left to ripen. Green tomato sauce isn't so appealing, so just ended up being more for the compost pile - it produced like a champ though! And in a large container at that!

What are the pros? Prolific producer

What are the cons? Difficult to tell when to pick

Review:

I have mixed feelings about this one. Beautiful green flesh, productive plants. But it seemed like you had to pick them on just the right day. Time it right, and the flavor is bright and tangy and amazing. Too early -- bland. Too late -- mealy and bland.

What are the pros? Looks, Productivity

What are the cons? Taste

Review:

Extremely beautiful plants and tomatoes and lots and lots of them. I had to warn my U-Pick customers to avoid this plant because the tomatoes were just awful, bland and mealy. I grew 400 heirloom plants and 68 heirloom varieties this year and this was tied for the worst of them all with the Violet Jasper which was also extremely productive and beautiful but tasted terrible.

What are the pros? Beautiful, abundant

What are the cons? Very large plants if let go

Review:

Follow up: produced abundantly. I kept them pruned in height but they still grew like crazy. These were THE BEST tasting tomato I've ever eaten. They are very beautiful, too. Already bought my seeds for this year, as well as two more varieties of "blue" tomatoes you offer.
