White Emerald cucumber is vigorous and prolific. Fruit is crisp with light green color skin. Thick, cylindrical in shape. A good resistant variety that is well adapted to a wide range of growing conditions, but especially in hot, humid areas. From Thailand.

What are the pros? Not sure

What are the cons? Did not perform

Review:

We had an atypically cool summer, so I would probably give these another try. Tough time keeping them alive during transplant, but probably could have just sowed them outside to begin with. Only one plant survived to produce, gave a few fruits, and died off. One more try and then would eliminate this one for my garden.

What are the pros? Tons of cukes

What are the cons? wish it could've lasted longer

Review:

This is an update to my review above. The vine just died to a fungus(My fault, over crowded the bed) but before it went down hill I had harvested over 40 cukes from one vine. Will definitely plant this one again, great cukes! They make great pickles even when picked at full size. They last a couple weeks after picking so you have plenty of time to eat, pickle, or share them.

What are the pros? Prolific

What are the cons? none

Review:

Just picked the first few off the vine in early July. They turn more yellow than light green when ripe. Nice, crisp, and refreshing flavor. I plant in 100% compost raised beds and these babies love it. I have over a dozen cucumber maturing on the vine right now from one plant! Love'em!
