80 days. An amazing heirloom that is bursting with fragrance and natural goodness that's hard to beat. One of the best tomatoes I have tasted, being both sweet and rich. The cream colored fruit are beautiful, smooth and weigh about 8 ounces each. The vines set heavy yields of this rare treasure. It's sure to become a favorite of gourmet growers.

What are the pros? Flavor, sets well in heat

What are the cons? None

Review:

Each year, I've been trying out a different heirloom tomato in an attempt to find on that will still set fruit when the temperatures start to rise in Central Texas. The White Tomesol really exceeded my expectations. We've just rolled into September, and I had fruit all summer long, some even still setting when we hit triple-digits (although the fruit was smaller). It grew fast, and was relatively bug-free as far as heirlooms go, even surviving a spider mite infestation! The fruit itself is also fantastic, having all that wonderful heirloom flavor I wanted.

What are the pros? Unique flavor

I'm telling you guys this tomato makes some of the best BLTs I've ever ate. It adds a new dimension that red tomatoes can't match. Will be growing again next year.

What are the pros? Hardiness

What are the cons? nothing

Review:

I couldnt figure out how to update my review below so I am leaving a second review. I really have to hand it to the white tomesol. It really hard to find tomamto that can tolerate the dry arizona weather, or the extreme heat. This has proven to do both. I have 1 plant that is over a year old now. The desert air, nor the extreme sin and heat have it killed it unlike all other varieties I tried (I expected it to die. Everything dies in the summer). This is an awesome choice for those in the Phoenix area.

What are the pros? best large tomato I've grown

What are the cons? none

Review:

Sometimes medium-large tomatoes experience splitting or the bugs get to them before they're fully mature. Not the White Tomesol. This has been the most consistent medium-large tomato I've grown. I like the flavor, and the actual consistency of the fruit itself. It's great to cook with or use in salads.

What are the pros? lots of tomatoes

What are the cons? took a long time to produce

Review:

This one took a while, but it has taken off and has more tomatoes than any of my other varieties. I planted it last July (second growing season in AZ) and didn't get anything. It survived AZ mild winter and now is producing like crazy!
