60 days. A great yielder. Creamy-ivory, 7”-long fruits, delicious and great for pickles or slicing. W. Atlee Burpee introduced this heirloom in 1893 after they received it from a customer in New York.

What are the pros? Healthy and easy to grow

What are the cons? No fruit

Review:

The plants are huge and healthy, they are covered in flowers, the issue is that all the flowers are male. I know that female flowers appear later, but it's August 1st and two months since they started blooming and I have yet to see any female flowers.

Review:

Very prolific plants but you need to pick the cucumbers before they blow up and are all seed. Some issues with bitterness. I love the color once pickled, though the skin was a little thick.

Review:

not sure why i had so much trouble with cucumbers this year, but in the end, this cuke was all i had. the flavor and texture were great, and just a couple plants produced mightily. i chopped and pickled and they were really tasty. however, after a while they got bitter for some reason, maybe the heat? the plant was still producing but the quality suffered. was still fine though, because i had picked a hundred nice ones by then.
