What are the pros? Effortless and Prolific
What are the cons? None
As a leafy green enthusiast, I have to say this is one of my favorites.
Taste and texture is really great but that's not the best part if you ask me.
Unlike regular arugula varieties, this one is actually a perennial. I planted these once and they keep coming every year, given protection from frost over the winter. By the time I get the first few true leaves on other rockets, I can already get my first harvest from these ones because they're established plants. Just leave it in the ground after they bolt and you'll be smiling next season.
Also, when they go to flower, you can harvest all the surprisingly tasty flowers to use in salads as you won't be needing to save seeds.
However, as seedlings, these ones are a lot tinier than other varieties and it takes a while for them to get going when grown from seed. Yet if kept happy, they soon catch up to other varieties to say the very least.
I won't be sowing another rocket variety from now on.

What are the pros? best producer around!
What are the cons? none
I have never grown arugula so I wasn't sure what to expect. This stuff is awesome! I cut it all down when things were small and tender to make arugula, basil pesto and suddenly in a few weeks I had more arugula! I cut it back again and made more pesto. A few weeks later I again had loads and loads of arugula. I let this round go to seed just to see if it will reseed this spring. Heres to 2014 and more arugula!

This rocket was fantastic. I'll never go without it in my garden again. Sensitive to sun and heat but very prolific in part shade. I used it to give some kick to salads and took some to the in-laws for a family dinner. My usually-hard-to-please mother-in-law raved on and on about it! That's when I knew this was a keeper!
I never have to replant wild arugula as long as I let at least 1 plant go to seed. This plant can spread rapidly since it is self seeding & it will compete with weeds. Absolutely excellent for salad. Nutty & spicy flavor with a wonderful nutty aroma when the leaves are bruised.
