What are the pros? Tall and Easy To Grow

What are the cons? Some Variations In Blooms

Review:

I had a quick and high germination rate. Plants grew quickly to 4' tall and made a wonderful color spot. I did have a couple that had the larger double blooms and one occasionally had a light pink flower. They were all beautiful and consistent in size.

What are the pros? very tall, long blooming

What are the cons? impure seed (one pink)

Review:

I grew these in a south-facing flower bed by direct sowing in late May. I had to water them occasionally, but they were generally easy to care for. They were HUGE. 5 feet tall, maybe 6. I had to tie them to my porch to keep them off the sidewalk. Red blooms would fade a bit to a more orangey color with age, but lasted a long time. Blooms varied in form from puffy dahlia-like to singles. I planted the whole packet and got one bright pink flowering plant, so heads up for that. Overall, really fun to grow.

What are the pros? profuse huge blooms

What are the cons? none

Review:

If you are looking for huge red flowers in profusion this is the plant for you! They performed consistently through the summer with no care whatsoever. I planted these with my raspberries to deter Japanese beetles and did not have one raspberry plant so much as nibbled. The plants bloom profusely for months. I just saved some seed from them. I will definitely continue to grow these. They are amazing.

What are the pros? Stunning color, great price

What are the cons? None

Review:

These are another absolutely stunning red zinnia, reminiscent of Meteor. This is my second year growing these as well. Super simple to sow and require almost no care. I will grow these too, every year and highly recommend.
