90 days. Superbly rich and delicious-tasting large fruit, the golden variety gives good yields and, in our opinion, the fruit are better tasting than Pink Brandywine. Large potato-leaf plants are very sturdy and deep green. This heirloom is delicious any way you eat it!

Wow. The thickest stems of all my plants. Very prolific. Tasty. About 8 feet tall end of August

What are the pros? Taste

What are the cons? Slow

Review:

I was concerned as this variety seemed to take forever to set fruit, then a LONG time to ripen; yet, once they did the taste was well worth it! I also like this just as much if not more than a traditional red brandywine. I gave some to our neighbors and they agreed that these make the best tomato sandwiches!

Strong healthy plants. Huge tomatoes took a long season to ripen. Good yields. Fruits had large cores but the flavor and texture were very nice.

Review:

I absolutely love this incredibly juicy tomato. They have become a standard in our garden year after year. Every person I have shared this variety with tell me they must grow next year. You really can't go wrong with this tomato. Some years they have been a bit slow to come on but they are well worth the wait. They will continue to ripen off the vine after it has gotten too cold. I think they are best for fresh eating.

Review:

Yellow Brandywine is also tastier than a variety called "Red Brandywine." It's another one I've chosen to save seeds from and will continue in my garden with its limited space (room for only 20 varieties!
