Early, vigorous and productive cowpea of unknown history; but the variety was too good to keep to ourselves! Sent to us by a customer, Larry Dudley of Oxford, Florida. Selected from unknown varieties stored in a freezer since about 1975, having been placed there by his late grandmother. The eyes are yellow in the shell-stage. Vigorous, vining plants yield over a long season; superior flavor used as shell-peas or dried.
