These beauties are yellow cherries to about 2 oz., with pale cream stripes. Fetching companion to Pink Vernissage when paired in salads or on relish trays! A tasty little tomato that comes to us from Ukraine.

What are the pros? Super easy to grow

What are the cons? Thick skin

Review:

I do prefer other tomatoes but when those stop producing I will still be getting tons of these well into November. The plant produces so many tomatoes I am always surprised. Even though I prefer other tomatoes I grow, any tomato grown in the garden is better than one bought in the store and it's funny how delicious they taste in the fall when all of the others stop producing.

What are the pros? Color, flavor,

What are the cons? Mixed-up seeds

Review:

I really liked all of the Vernissage tomatoes but this was one of my favorites. We had a VERy wet, cool spring but these plants grew and produced fruit prolifically! They showed excellent crack resistance and did not show any BER when many of my other varieties were a total loss from BER. They did seem more susceptible to Early blight than some other varieties. But, overall, they are an excellent addition to the garden. Flavor is sweet, and fairly mild. Some of my earliest fruits seemed a bit grainy but that can be due to cool weather and too much rain. Flavor improved as the summer progressed. My only gripe with these is that the seeds are not true. Or, they were mixed during packaging. Out of 15 plants, one appeared to be a pink vernissage, and another almost seemed like a cross between a black and yellow vernissage. But, then, I've had trouble with Baker Creek's seeds before. Still, thanks for sharing this wonderful variety.
