What are the pros? Easy to Grow, Delicious
What are the cons? Low yield, slow maturing
For some, maybe the 5 star rating is over doing it given what I wrote for early maturity. Sure it doesn't yield too much, but for me, I'd much rather have the sweetest winter squash I've ever had than have a room full of flavorless ones. That is what I had. In the whole growing season I had 2 fruits. However when simply roasted, they were the sweetest, densest, and creamiest flesh I've ever had out of a squash. One tip, I found both fruits growing in shady areas, one in a patch of mint, and the other underneath a tomato plant. The squash plants themselves seem to like the sun, but for some reason the fruit did not! Maybe try planting it near bushes of sorts and rearrange the plant so the flowers end up in the shade.
