What are the pros? Great flavor.
What are the cons? none, really.
These peppers have some kick. But not nearly that of a pure bred habanero. If you enjoy that distinct fruity, smokey flavor of a habanero that you get to enjoy for about one second before it incinerates your taste buds, then this one is for you!
Started in early March, it remained quite small, bloomed, but did not start to set fruit until late July. Our Summer here in the PNW was hot early and then somewhat mild, so not optimal for peppers. The plants still prevailed and are still ripening even though our September nights are now dipping into the high 40's. Will grow again.
