Habanero flavor without all the heat! Mildly spicy, bullet-shaped fruits are full of fruity habanero flavor and fragrance, but with only a gentle mild heat—a modest 100 scovilles! Fruits reach just over 2-inches in length, ripen to brilliant lipstick red, on super productive plants. Ideal for Caribbean-style salsas, or stuffed with cheese and baked.

What are the pros? Tons of peppers

What are the cons? Flavor is bland and waxy

Review:

Once I finally got one of these to grow from seeds (started 5 seeds late February, 1 grew into a meaningful plant - now a bumper crop in late August from just one plant) it took off like a rocket. It has about 20 peppers on it at a time and I've harvested probably 40 already. Problem is - the peppers taste just awful. They are incredibly waxy - I've even tried washing & scrubbing them to rid them of the waxy taste - and bland. A bell pepper has more flavor than this. Only the vaguest hint of a pepper taste. None of the Habenaro flavor advertised came to fruition. Too bad, given it's prolific tendency.

What are the pros? great germination.

What are the cons? none yet.

Review:

I can report that the germination was good on these- I started them in an APS system on 1/14/16. One came up on 1/29/16, and all the rest sprouted slowly after, 100% germination. I potted them up 3/3/16. Today (3/7) the starts are small but dense and they each have about 6 true leaves. I will update if I can.
