A popular variety from Italy, the light-green/cream fruit are mild and sweet. Beautiful in a zucchini mix. Productive bush plants. Pure imported Italian seed.

What are the pros? Good flavor

What are the cons? Larger seeds

Review:

This is one of the first zucchini plants I grew (and tasted). The flavor is mild and very good so much so even our children grew to like and ask for zucchini. Pick them when smaller to avoid the larger seed development.

What are the pros? Great flavor, early

What are the cons? not as white as I expected

Review:

We grew this variety in the interior of Alaska. It survived being ignored and thrived well into August with very little tending. My son grew one to 6.45 lbs and won first place for giant zucchini at the state fair. Highly recommend this as a very easy to grow and early fruiter. Very mild flavor. I like to eat it raw, it's sweet almost like a dry cucumber.

Review:

I grew this variety last year along with black beauty and lemon, and this one was the most productive. Great for cooking, but the larger seeds made it less useful for baking (shredding the seeded part on a box grater reduced it to a pile of mush). I'd still grow it for the cooking though.

What are the pros? Lots of fruit, large growing

What are the cons? None

Review:

We have loved growing this zucchini! The fruits grow very large and very fast. This is especially impressive for our 7300ft altitude and very dry climate. The plant doesn't take up much space either, maybe a 3ftx3ft area per plant. The Zucchini was very useful in all ways too. Good for grilling, eating raw with a dip, baking bread, baked seed (It has larger seed like a pumpkin), and is super easy to save the seed for the next year. We only grew 3 plants and they produced more than enough for our family of 4! It has a mild taste, and they keep after being picked for months! I highly recommend this type for any backyard garden

Review:

These grow super fast! All of my squash seeds I get from bikers creek do really well, both winter and summer. I am a certified organic farmer, so the only thing I used was organic chicken manure to fertilize. These produce really well, and grow faster than my yellow summer squash, even faster than the green bush varieties. I use these the same way I would use zuchinni. They also dry nicely for winter storage. Definitely worth adding to your garden. I have these in a raised bed that get only morning and afternoon sun. No problems with diseases or bugs.
