Pretty, double, 3” flowers are a deep orange color. They are great as cut flowers or as a tasty garnish in salads and add color to many dishes.

What are the pros? easy to grow, great harvest

What are the cons? none

Review:

I sowed these directly in my garden in early spring and had a fantastic harvest up until we had consistent frost. I dried whole flower heads and just petals and have enjoyed using them all winter long for soothing colds and sore throats. I was grateful for a good harvest and shared a tin of dried flowers with a friend who had sores in his mouth while battling cancer. These flowers are beautiful and a gift to health!

What are the pros? Incredible color and stalk

What are the cons? Cut flowers wilt fast

Review:

I have had trouble in the past getting calendula to take. This variety is vigorous and going strong! I love the length of the stalk as they make for great cutting flowers. However they do wilt fast and only last a few days in arrangements. All of my seeds germinated and the plants have been healthy and disease free! I would definitely recommend these for edible gardens!

What are the pros? Great color, high yeild

What are the cons? some of the flowers were small

Review:

The bush that keeps giving!!! Striking orange flowers- I am really shocked that the other reviews said that their flowers were not orange..? Mold resistant, beautiful big flowers. Lots of seeds!!! I have been growing the same plant for 2 1/2 years now, I cut it back during last winter and it came back even bigger this year, producing flowers all year long. I have harvested many lbs of flower heads for tea and first aid use. I also saved many seeds and give them out as gifts.
