What are the pros? As good as Genovese
What are the cons? None
Used to grow Genovese for pesto, but switched to Emily for the compact size when I started a separate small herb bed. Flavor, color and leaf size are comparable to Genovese but plants take up less space. I used it as a cut and come again herb this year, cutting three times and each time my plants regrew nearly as tall as before, eliminating the need for large plants altogether. Perfect.
