I grow a lot of this, not that I can't get a lot off of one plant, but I absolutely love this basil-fresh in the summer and dehydrated for use during the winter. We keep the leaves whole in the dehydrator and rub the dried leaves in our palms to add to a dish and it could be a new perfume it's so fragrant. I love the smell and the taste it brings when added to food-amazing! The more I pull off the plant, the less fragrant, but I still get several pickings before the leaves are done with their "best".
