What are the pros? Prolific, pretty, delicious
What are the cons? None
These beans are great fun. The plants grew well in our cool/temperate weather (summer highs here almost always stay below 80?F). The red flowers are striking and lovely. The beans themselves are unique - slightly fuzzy (although not unpleasantly so), very tender at any size, no strings, tiny beans inside. We were surprised to find a 14" bean hiding in the foliage, but now that I read the description of this variety, I now see that's something Benchmaster beans are known for. I'll definitely grow these again next year!

What are the pros? easy to grow, lots of beans
What are the cons? ?..nothing
So I tried to grow 4 different kinds of beans on my trellis this year and this was the only bean that gave me product so far despite being in zone 9b -10a. And even though I have 6 vines technically there are hundreds of blossoms and tons of beans on my vines right now..they are tasty and amazing.!
