75-80 days. Incredibly colorful and delicious large-fruited slicing variety! Fruit runs 8 to 16 ounces. Exterior color is green with stripes in red and yellow. But the flesh is truly tri-color! Creamy green flesh infused with various shades of red and yellow. Each of these colors has a different flavor resulting in a spicy, sweet, tart tomato with good acid all in one fruit. Discovered in a planting of Beauty King. Fair to good production. A truly incredible new open-pollinated variety, and a new favorite of many chefs.

What are the pros? acidic, big fruit

What are the cons? small production

Review:

These plants have huge open blooms and only set about two every few weeks. The fruit is very big and even though they are slow to mature, don't become overly mealy. They are very acidic, which my family loves. The only two problems I have are they easily crack with abundant rain (we' ve been inundated this year)- they heal quickly but it makes the tomato look ugly, and they are very attractive to deer- I have several varieties of tomatoes and these are the choice of my local herd. I've had to wrap every tomato in netting to keep them from eating them! Well worth it.

What are the pros? Easy to start

What are the cons? Prone to disease.

Review:

This was my first year growing this variety and I'm not sure I will again. The heat and humidity wasn't good to them. All 4 plants looked very good until the 94-98 degree heat/ humidity arrived early in the season.. They stopped thriving and died fully loaded with small tomatoes. I grew 48 plants with 15 variety's and these were the only total lose.

What are the pros? Taste, productivity, size

What are the cons? Not very disease resistant

Review:

No complaints. Excellent flavor. A bit early considering the size. Have to rotate out because it’s not particularly disease resistant. I blame myself, not the cultivar. Curious to see how it does down south.

What are the pros? everything

What are the cons? nothing

Review:

My new favorite tomato, will definitely plant again. Extremely juicy and flavorful with enormous visually striking fruit. Some of mine topped 20 oz! My single plant produced very well this warmer- and longer-than-average season, though there are still green fruits on the vine now that the PNW fall gloom has kicked in.

What are the pros? Sweet yet tangy, very juicy.

What are the cons? Does not like heat.

Review:

I was really amazed and impressed with the flavor and they way it presents on a plate. As a specialty tomato grower for high end restaurants, this is one of the most popular.
