What are the pros? flavor, compact harvest window
What are the cons? requires staking
They germinated well and transplanted well. I have had no pest or disease issues with this plant. The plants are short and determinate and ripen all within a week or so of each other on the same plant. As others have noted the plants do need staking if you don't want your fruit on the ground. I was getting between 8 and 15 tomatoes per plant. These tomatoes are acidic and have a wonderful flavor although they tend towards the smaller side. I have only had one or two as large as a roma most are about halfway between romas and cherry tomatoes. That said they are my customer's preferred tomato and sell out each market. They can be prone to cracking with too much moisture.
I have people asking me for more of these tomatoes each week and hope Baker Creek offers them in bulk pricing next year.
