What are the pros? Grows well, resilient

What are the cons? A little slow to mature

I really liked this tomato. I tried a number of new varieties this year, and the Black Beauty was the heartiest seedling/start of the bunch. When other seedlings had their first set of leaves, I had to transplant these. The seedlings were resilient in the face of puppies, clumsy toddlers, and squirrels. After planting they had many trials and tribulations, but still managed to set a large number of fruit. Tomatoes were tasty with good flavor, and beautiful in a salad or sandwich. I ate an embarrassing number of tomato and mayo sandwiches. Next year they will get their own bed with extra protection to see if I can coax out their full potential. The Phoenix heat is setting in now, so I'm interested to see if they survive until fall. A fall/winter crop would be the ultimate test for these lovelies!
