What are the pros? So. Many. Tomatoes.
What are the cons? Most of them rotted for me.
My six plants were pretty compact, but they set a RIDICULOUS amount of fruit. At one point, I had what must have been 30 lbs of tomatoes on a single plant. They grew in bunches like cherry tomatoes, only most of them were about 1.5 lbs - so imagine 10 to 15 lb bunches of huge dark black tomatoes. I was busy with life this season and not as attentive as I would have liked, so it may been my inattention, but despite the volume of fruit, these weren't great for me. They were beautiful indeed, jet black just like the pictures, but had no taste. They seemed to go straight from not-quite-ripe to rotted-on-the plant with no point where they seemed ripe and ready to eat. I ended up with a huge pile of rotted fruit and ended up pulling the plants. Going to try one plant this year and give it a lot more attention. I hope it will be great the second time around, but If it doesn't really wow me, then I'm done with it.
