What are the pros? Early and beautiful
What are the cons? None
These were the earliest and most beautiful peppers in my garden last year and am growing them again this year. The leaves are either a deep glossy green or a dark purple/black. The black peppers have a fresh green taste like a very mild jalapeno, and when allowed to ripen to red have a deep smoky flavor with medium spice. I like to let them ripen red and chop up to toss in a stir fry. If you are looking for pepper that is early, prolific, and beautiful you will not be disappointed.
