75 days. Unique, black-colored fruit that is the shape of a Jalapeno. It is mildly hot and have a delicious flavor. The tall plants have beautiful purple flowers that make this variety very ornamental. Rare and colorful!

What are the pros? Easy to grow, High yield

What are the cons? None

Review:

These have been so fun to have in the garden! The beautiful blooms were a welcome relief after a long, wet spring. The peppers have a pleasantly warm heat, with a nice sweetness. I'll be planting them again and again!

What are the pros? Beautiful flowers and fruit.

What are the cons? None

Review:

First producer, beautiful black jalape?o shaped fruit that is green inside and very mild. But ripens to a deep ruby red, thickens and becomes a wonderful mild heat and flavor. I love this plant with its purple flowers, black fruit turning deep red. Plants covered in fruit, 100% germination, no disease, no problems. Started indoors from seed mid April., to garden on May 1, Northern Virginia. First fruit early to mid June. First ripe fruit about July 1. Definitely will grow next year.

What are the pros? Tons of beautiful peppers.

What are the cons? Little to no heat.

Review:

All plants started off really slow after transplant. The after a few weeks....boom. They took off like crazy. All plants were loaded with peppers. Wish they had some heat to them. Let some turn a ruby red color, but the heat was still not there. Beautiful plants though.

What are the pros? Very prolific, beautiful

What are the cons? thought they'd be hotter

Review:

This was my first year trying to grow peppers and out of maybe 4 or 5 varieties these were the only ones that produced for me and in large amounts from early July to mid-October. The black and red peppers were beautiful! We didn't think these were very spicy which worked out for me this year but we did notice that closer to the stem, the spicier it got. I gave a lot away to neighbors this year but will be trying to make salsa and freezing some next year.

What are the pros? simple, hardy, beautiful

What are the cons? too easy?

Review:

These poor guys got decimated multiple times by hornworms while I was away, they bounced back every time. I had peppers most everyday. They are beautiful. Not hot, though occasionally one would surprise me.
