Review:

Been growing these for 20 years and they are reliable croppers. Beautiful bushy plants that ripen fruit in my area within 65 days of transplant, just about 10 days after early girl and 3 or 4 days after pruden's purple tomatoes. I got my seeds both from totally tomatoes seed co. and from pinetree seeds co. and my own saved seeds. This year I will be planting seed from baker creek for comparison, on growth and flavor. To me these tomatoes taste like a salty/sweet and juicy gift of the garden gods! I always grow one plant in the greenhouse, so I can harvest fresh fruit longer into the season. Outdoors they seem to produce best out of the wind to keep the cracks and scars away, and this plant produces more flavorful crops in a leaner soil with a mulch of our abundant quack grass to keep moisture levels consistant. I have found that mulching around the tomato plants with pulled weeds and cut quack grass feeds the plants and totally puts an end to blossom end rot. Try growing black krim!
