Virtual Backgrounds For Zoom Or Meet
Bring a little Baker Creek magic to your next Zoom call or Google Meet! We’ve collected some of our very favorite scenic views of the pastoral gardens, rustic buildings and heritage breed animals that make Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company’s farm and village such a special place.
Perhaps you’ve visited Baker Creek, or simply admired photographer Laura Stilson’s spectacular images that are featured in our catalogs and social media. And since virtual work and socializing is likely to be with us for a long time to come, we invite you to immerse yourself in the serene landscape of the Missouri Ozarks.
Making a virtual background on Zoom is easy. Simply download one of the images on this page by right clicking and selecting 'save as', or better yet, download them all. (You will need to download them one at a time.) Once you’re signed in to a Zoom meeting, then look for the “stop video” icon at the bottom of the screen. Click on the up arrow just to the right of it, then select “choose virtual background.” Then click on the + icon (on the lower right side of the video screen) and then “add image.” You can upload as many images as you like, and switch them out whenever you like.
To add new backgrounds in Google Meet: When you have started a meeting, click on the icon of the three vertical dots at the bottom of the screen. That will open a window where you can select “change background.” (NOTE: Some browsers, such as Safari, do not support this function.) A window should then pop up on the right side of the screen. Click the + button to add an image, then browse to the image you want. You can upload as many as you like, and switch between them anytime. For more help, see Google’s guide to adding images and effects in Google Meet.
