What are the pros? Heat tolerant
What are the cons? none
I had never eaten kale before I got this free seed pack from Baker Creek. This is the gift that keeps on giving. I chop the plant down to 3 small leaves and 10 days later the plant is massive again. It's supposed to be a cool weather crop from my understanding, but we are well into 30C daytime temps and it still hasn't shown any signs of bolting. I use it as a spinach substitute in greek feta pies, and throw it my stir fry regularly. Finally I get the kale madness sweeping the western world. Thank you Baker Creek.

We have been growing this kale for several years and it is wonderful. Tastes great, very prolific and the market customers love it.

What are the pros? Easy to grow, taste
Great kale variety and very easy to grow from seed. Very cold hardy and extremely tasty, especially after a frost.

What are the pros? taste and ease of growth
I grow this year around in my little green house on the south side of my home. Eat it almost daily in smoothies, salads and sandwiches. Also share it with my neighbors and other friends who also very like it. No bugs even aphids on this Kale.

What are the pros? Very easy to grow
Very easy to grow and extremely prolific producer here on the coast of Southern California. Grows especially well in raised beds and have two plants from early in the year (January) still producing! Later plants planted in April are very vigorous and are harvested at least twice a week. well recommended!
