Never mind the gourds, the vine is excellent with heart-shaped leaves 12 inches wide. Gorgeous flowers.

I've tried to grow this gourd in years past with limited success but this year (2012) and it's drought seemed to agree with it. I have tons of huge gourds in my garden (mid- August) and look forward to turning them into containers. I'm especially pleased with it as my other gourds didn't make much. Even with supplimetal water the vines just sat there not growing, not so with Bushel which is growing all over my garden.
