Strawberry Blonde Calendula

Calendula is incredibly versatile with boundless culinary, healing, pest repelling and ornamental properties. We love this new twist on the traditional calendula; soft yellow petals have a surprise cerise color on their backs. This dual color pattern gives the blooms a bold, three dimensional effect. An excellent companion plant for tomatoes in the garden or containers!

What are the pros? Gorgeous color

What are the cons? Small, short-lived blooms

Review:

I love the color of these, and they grew easily for me. The flowers are smaller than other more typical colored calendula I've seen, and they don't stand out from the plants that much. But super easy to grow! I'll definitely grow more, just maybe alongside some orange or yellow ones so these can be an accent.

What are the pros? Color, Flower Size, Good Cut

What are the cons? Takes a while to put on flower

Review:

LOVE these! The color is the most beautiful vintage pink. This season is my very first season with a garden, I planted a small number just to learn. They arent fussy at all ( hello, tomatos), and are doing well in a half sun/half shade situation. They are lasting well in a cut flower arrangement. Im so darned impressed with color.

What are the pros? Great prices, easy to grow,

What are the cons? nothing

Review:

I started the seeds indoors and have been getting blooms for a little while now. I really like the color. I planted them near my tomatoes and along my front walk way. They start out more a pink color and change to a lighter color as the mature. I will definitely be saving seeds and growing them again.

What are the pros? Flowers are interesting.

What are the cons? Not overly impressed.

Review:

These are just okay: they grow and flower some. They are small and short plants and there are fewer flowers than anticipated.
