(Campanula) Tall spikes of long-lasting, bellshaped flowers, in rich tones of purple, lavender, reds, pinks, yellows, and white to cream. A cottage-garden staple for centuries. Makes a fine cut flower. It was offered by Comstock, Ferre & Co. in 1856.

What are the pros? big blooms, blooms twice

What are the cons? doesn't bloom the first year

Review:

I planted these last year in the spring. They grew through the summer and this spring they bloomed. They stayed bloomed for several weeks, are dying now but new buds are growing to bloom again this year. They were planted in a shady spot but are strong and thick stalked so no drooping from all the blooms. They bloomed in two shades of purple. I started more seeds this year to put out in a flower bed for next year. Will definitely recommend these to friends and family members. Thank you Baker Creek!!!
