What are the pros? Prolific, beautiful plant

I am currently on the look out for ripeness in my melon patch. This year I planted Petit Gris de Rennes, Golden Jenny, Noir de Carmes, Madhu Ras, Kazakh, Ashkahabad, Boule D’or, Delicious 51, Huerfano Bliss, Planters Jumbo, Cannary Melon, and Charentais. I didn’t know charentais have a few different varieties like Alvaro, Savor, Perseus etc., which by the way have different ways of ripening. Perseus which I have in my garden discribed as with netting and light ribbing, and as for Alvaro have a deep green ribbing and grey-greenish skin before ripening, Savor has only deep green ribbing no netting just light green skin and may turn a tan hue when ripe. All of these charentais I have in my garden, I was confused at first bcoz this was my first time successfully growing these in my garden and when they started fruiting they had different skins texture, and color which I started researching and found that not all of them were the same varities. As far as taste, I will update.
